Enjoy fun games and music on the concourse of Millett Hall, between the doubleheaders on December 13th, January 10th, 24th and February 14th.
See how you “Measure Up to Miami” with an interactive display about our very own Miami Basketball teams. Don’t miss Santa on December 13th, enjoy face painting by Goldie the Clown and a magician on February 14th! Walk through history on January 24th with a display of the rich tradition of Miami Athletics and Miami University.
Halftime Performances and Special Recognitions
Jan. 10th Kings Firecrackers
The Kings Firecrackers – This team of grade school and junior high jump-ropers will make their annual halftime appearance at the Saturday, January 10th men’s basketball game vs. Akron. The Kings Firecrackers have performed in two Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parades, The Late Show with David Letterman, as well as many high school, college, and professional basketball games.
Jan. 14th Energy Variety Dance Team
Jan. 24th America’s Best Frisbee Dogs
America’s Best Frisbee Dogs – America’s Best Frisbee Dogs will invade Oxford on January 24th, performing at both the women’s and men’s basketball games. You will be amazed at the talent of these four dogs who are trained to catch Frisbees while bounding through the air. Jan. 28th Crosby Unicyclers
Crosby Unicyclers – The Crosby Elementary “Pop Cycles” have appeared in the Cincinnati Reds Opening Day parade and will be traveling to Oxford for the men’s game vs. Northern Illinois on Wednesday, January 28th. Check out the balancing skills of these grade school-ers on unicycles of all different heights! Feb. 14th THINK PINK, Hall of Fame Induction and 1999 “Sweet 16” Team Reunion
Hall of Fame – Miami University will induct members to the Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, February 14th. This ceremony will take place during halftime of the men’s game vs. Western Michigan. Miami basketball standout, Wally Szczerbiak will be in attendance along with other members of the magical Sweet 16 team of 1999 for a special ten-year reunion.
